“I remember my days on the top floor of the A-Tower at Deutsche Bank headquarters in Frankfurt. I started out as a strategy specialist working for the MNC board member back then, attended many executive board’s meetings, observed, and learned, and later rose through the ranks. Along with one other female colleague, we were the first and only women in leadership positions in the multinational corporations department (head office).
Being in the middle of Deutsche’s top global management felt like being on the bridge of a magnificent ocean cruiser. Captain’s talk. Stormy forecasts. Crew’s concerns.
